Having a fun place to get wet and cool-off in the hot summer months is an important part of any child-friendly neighborhood. That’s why PLAYbynature is conducting a study to better understand the many costs and benefits of water features in public parks.
Our hope is to bring an evidence-based approach to water play and help inform communities’ decisions during park consultations as well as to build awareness of the social value of different publicly provided water features.
The study will include a survey of the available literature, observations conducted in Toronto’s parks, and an on-line questionnaire. Parents and guardians can contribute either by filling out the questionnaire below, or by e-mailing Thomas Saleh at email@example.com. We’d love to hear from you on your experience with public water features!
Thank you very much for your participation and support.
